We have known each other since we were 18, but truly met each other when we discovered that we were walking around with the same questions about life. Who are we, why are we here, why do we live in ways that don't make sense and why do we feel like something is missing? Gradually we started organizing meetings for women at Eleonora's kitchen table in Amsterdam. Many meetings and events followed, and now we also organize webinars.

We both love to bring people together, to connect with them and talk about what is really going on in everyone's lives. By starting the conversation, we learn from each other, there is more understanding and awareness, and we can be reflected to make different choices. 

 

There is a lot going on in the world and within the four walls of our homes, workplaces and schools. Many people, young and old, feel lost and under pressure, and not met for who they truly are. We often hear people ask: Is this it? They feel they are missing something and look outside themselves, just like we did for a long time. There is so much information out there, and we are bombarded daily with opinions, advice, ideal images and 'what's right' and 'what's normal'. But does this feel true for you?

 

E&M Talks hosts interactive and enriching conversations, online and offline, for which we invite different conversation partners each time. We talk about relationships, health, work, education, parenting, women's wellbeing, aging, youth, and everything else about life.
